The Braulio Carrillo National Park is one of the largest protected areas in Costa Rica. It covers thousands of hectares of tropical rainforest and tropical cloud forest. There are many rivers, mountains and valleys within its borders. It protects an immense variety of wildlife, including plants and animals inhabit these ecosystems.
