Cahuita. Cahuita is very similar to Puerto Viejo, however, it is smaller, and during the years has maintained a more quiet and local atmosphere, not su influenced by tourism. It is famous for its incredible beach, the coral reef and the Cahuita National Park. This charming coastal village is famous for afro- caribbean culture, beaches, rainforests, surfing and relaxation. The area has a different and interesting culture, more influenced by the Caribbean Islands, including Jamacia. The vegetation here is lush, tropical and dense.
