The Costa Rica Conservation Federation
is a very active organization what works in all fields from
social and cultural areas to its specialty: The environment
and conservation in Costa Rica.
Its main activity is to encourage and to
actively criticize actions taking place than harm the environment,
including deforestation, building of dams, overdevelopment
in some areas, water contamination, poaching and illegal
hunting, social injustice against local indigenous people
and even corruption.
It also actively participates in forums
and debates that include political issues, including the
free trade agreement, social and human development injustices
and other.
