Sarapiqui. Sarapiqui is a great area for birding. Surrounded by the high cloud forests of Braulio Carrillo, the slopes of Irazu and Turrialba Vocano and the lowlands from Barra del Colorado, Tortuguero and the descending ridges of Talamanca, this areas is home to hundreds of species.
